To Present Series of Plays
MISS CANDACE ANN KANIECKI AND RICHARD D. HURST are
planning to be married Aug. 23 in Chatham, Mass, where the couple
are members of the acting company of the Monomoy Summer
Theater. Miss Kaniecki is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip
Kaniecki of Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Hurst is a graduate of Bellaire
High School and Tulane University, New Orleans, La. where he
received a double bachelors degree in theater and psychology.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hurst, 4515 Merrie Ln.
and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Geo D. McElree Sr. of 138 Pilmsllia
Dr. After the wedding the couple will live in Philadelphia where Mr.
Hurst will finish his graduate work at Temple University.
'KISS ME KATE'
AT MUSIC THEATRE
Cole Porter’s musical “Kiss
Me Kate” will be at the Houston
Music Theatre through Aug. 3.
Gale Sherwood, singing partner
of Nelson Eddy, will play the title
role. Portraying Fred Graham will
be Harve Presnell.
Performances begin at 8:30p.m.
Tuesday through Friday. Two
shows Saturday will be at 6 and
9:30 p.m. Sunday matinee begins
at 2:30 p.m.
