Notes

Ward graduated from McMurry College in 1940. He is perhaps best known as the author of Fountains of Faith, and he is one of America's most quoted writers of inspirational maxims. His biography appears in Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Public Relations, and Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
