ing and drainage canal projects now und-
er way in the R & T Area*

The R 8c T Area has been expanded by the
**laying-out** and leveling of it’s foot-
ball and Soccer Yield in the space ad-
joining and immediately West of the WAC

Section of Regional Hospital, the most
complete and. well—rounded, program of Re-
conditioning and Training to be found in

Tonite will herald the initial STAG PARTY
& SMOKER EOR R & TS—This will be a regul-
ar monthly program for Trainees thru the
coming Winter Season#
The Lions Club of Abilene are sponsoring
the party in collaboration with the Amer-
ican Red Cross, and are bringing a progr-
am to us consisting of three different ty-
pes of entertainment for your pleasure*
Refreshments, Cigarettes & Cigars will be
served during the evening to those Train-
ees who ’’Roll up” in their Class A’s, pin
on their name plates and take off for Reg-
ional Hospital Red Cross Auditorium tonite
at 8:30 for this splendid program and en-
tertainment#
The Lions have gone to quite some trouble
and expense to make this program possible,
therefore the least you can do is to be
there and show your appreciation for their
interest and efforts—100$ ATTENDANCE IS

With the re-vamping of Training Tests by
the addition of Pull-Ups and Squat-Jumps
to the physical program,
the past week* s tests shew-
ed the ”Supermen” of the
Pirst Platoon to have an
increase in the Platoon av-
erage to 40.8—Only 5#8 po-
ints below the all-time
high of 46.6 set some tine
ago.
Pvt. Roy Messick led the
Trainees again with a total
-1 point below the highest
