The particular coaches edition that was loaned to Howard Payne University for digital preservation was owned by Coach Al Milch, and is an autographed and inscribed copy.
Inscription on title page: "AL: We have been down a long road. I consider you as one of my best friends. I hope you enjoy this book. Coach Gordon Wood."
The family of Al Milch gave permission for digitization of their copy. The original print copy will be permanently housed at one of the Brownwood museums.
