Christian university won the game and
the local championship from Baylor uni-
versity by the score of 2 to L Byrd's ab-
aenos from the game and Punchard's
broken finger were responsible for Bay-
lor's downfall. Druke drove a three-bag-
fer over the Baylor substitute center

WASHINGTON. June 1. The case of
the Delmar Jockey Club vs. the State of
Missouri by which the club waa divest-
ed of Its charter had its property con-
fiscated and was required to pay a fine
of 26000 was today dismissed by the su-
preme court of the United States for lack
of Jurisdiction. '
The club was originally chartered by
the State as a fair association for the
purpose of not only giving racing exhibi-
tions but of displaying agricultural proj-
ects but it was alleged In the bUl of com-
plaint which was filed originally In the
supreme court of Missouri that the asso-
ciation had not only not accounted' for
Its prtvllegea but had abused them and
