Into full swing in other sections of the
State in the Rio Grande valley the
farmers hatfe practically completed the
picking of the fleecy staple. The sea-
son has bees unusually favorable for
cotton growers the. yield has been fine
and the prices have remained good.
Thwe have been many reports of more
than a bale to the. acre. TheM has
been no damage from boll weevil. The
few cbowers that have fallen have not
been sufficient to harnj cotton in any

here and 78 cents to 11 Is being paid
