Herc is a word to expectant parents.
Háve you included life insurance which
the SPJST offers, when making plans
for the new member of the family?
Surely you want your son or daughter
to háve a good start in life. You can
provide a good start by taking out a
sound, reliable insurance pian which
will mean securing that college edu-
cation some day. Make their future
sound by learning about what the
A MOTHER S LOVE
Life does not hold enough years
In which we can repay
A motheFs love — so do your best
Before she goes away.
No sweeter íhought was given birth
Amid the worldly throng;
No truer words were ever penned
In verse or saered song.
No pufer theme could be discussed
In mankinďs vast domain;
And hcaveiťs dream is far surpassecl
By this truc, sweet refrain.
Life does not hold enough years
In which we can repay
A mother’s love — so do your best
Before she goes away.
SPJST has to offer in the way of in-
surance for that new cfdld.
A poliey to suit every individual’s
need may be found among the insur-
ance plans earried by the SPJST. Look
them over and fincl out the details
from your local SPJST organizer. You
will be glad you did and. in addition to
privilege of belonging to one of the
largest families in Texas — a fraternal
benefit society family! Inelucled will be
the sociál life of your lodge and the
comfort and happiness that comes by
being a fraternalist. Fraternalism is a
generous virtue that would hold in
men’s hearts the sarae unselfish love
that is felt when they celebrate in
December. Practicing fraternalism
takés nothing from the fraternalist.
Rather it enriches his life, builds him
into new lineš, and gives him new
privileges he never before has known.

Who are the happiest people on
earth? This question was asked by a
New York newspaper, and prizes were
offered for the best answer. They were
four prize-winning answers:
“A little ehild bUilding a sand cas-
tle.”
“A craftsman or an artist whistlíng
ověř a job weil doně."
“A mother, after a busy day, bath-
ing her baby.”
“A doctor who has finíshéd a diffh
cult and dangerous operation and
saved a human life,”
Notice thér,e is no mentíon of a mil"4
líonaire. No inention of kings or em-
perorors. Riches and rank, no matter
how the woxdd strives for them, do
not make for happiness. A sand eastle
does far better than a palace. It would
be a sad day on earth if only the
great could be happy. But happiness
is for everybody who will seek to be
of service to others.
