Day Monday.
On Sunday, September 2, the new
lodge home will open at 10 a.m. The
rest of the schednle of events follows
this report. Serving of the noon meal
will commence at. 11 a.m. and will
consist of sausage and ham with all
the trimmings. The cost of the plate,
to include drink and dessert, will be
$2 for adults and $.75 for cbildren un-
der 12. >,
The dedication ceremonies will get
under way promptly at 1:30 with the
hal! being cleared at 1:15. The outdoor
ceremonies will be very brief, and will
then eontinue indoors. There will be
only one principál speaker. In his ad-
tíress, Supreme Lodge President Bro.
Nick A. Morris will give the complete
background and liistory of Lodge 74 up
to and through the present time.
Members of the SPJST throughout
the statě are cordially invited to this
formal opening and dedication. (For
directions on how to reach the halí,
please refer to skefceh which accom-
panies this report.) Leťs all attend
and share the pride of the members
of Lodge 74 on their reactivation and
their new lodge building on Septem-
ber 2.

LODGE NO. 35, ELK
Den r Members,
Our monthly meeting was called to
order by President 'Henry Breitkreute
on August 12. He then welcomed our
guests, Mrs. Bertha Jander, Paulině
Culverhouse, Frances Matus, Ernest
Clemmons, Mr. and, Mrs. Dick Yar -
borough, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Rackley, Mr.
and Mrs. William Rausehuber.
The recitation of th 4 pledge of al-
legiance was led by Cynthia and De-
nise Banik.
Secretary A. Banik read the min-
ii tes, which were approved.
AU offieers were present. All chair-
men gave their usual reports and
thanked their help. Youth Leader Rose-
ni árie Banik gave the youth report and
wished Randy Pavelka and Cynthia
Baník good luck at State YAD.
New members aceepted were: Mar-
sha Gail Haney, Imogene Haney, An-
gela Marie Rendek, Cliarlot-te Ann Ren-
dek, Ben Earl Rendek, and Elizabeth
Hejl.
Tiiose having birthdays in August
were: Ernest Clemmons, Barbara Pa-
velka, Shirley Dulock, Dorothv Banik,
Wesley Dulock. and Patricia Fabianké.
There was no old business.
Under new business, there was a
discussion of a Christmas party and
to háve the halí floor refinished as
soon as possible. The membership voted
to give a donation to the Alton Pratka
famiiy.
Financial Secretary Rudy Zalman,
then passed out refund checks.
The dooř prize winners were: adult
— Dorothy Banik; youth — Denise
Banik, with no further business, the
meeting was adjourned.
Then a cold-cuts and trimmings sup-
per was enjoyed by all after which a
game was played by alrnost everyone,
and there were quite ai few winners.
Thanks to the entertainm ent com-
mittee!
