The Publication Committee met at
the Supreme Lodge on December 19!,
1971. The following members of the
committee were present for the meet-
ing: Frances Olexa, president; Ed Ma-
zanec, vice president; Stanley Vrla;
secretary; William Miculka and Frank
Hejl, Jr. Also present were Supreme
Lodge President Nick Morris, Supreme
Lodge Treasurer Leonard Mikeska,
Editor Rudy Sefcik, Publisher Jos.
Holásek, Honoráry Past President of
the- Supreme Lodge Edward L. Marek,
Sisters Mazanec, Miculka, Vrla and
The meeting began at 10:05 a.m.
with the reading of the minutes by
Brother Vrla. They were accepted as
Sister Olexa relinquished her chair
to Brother Mazanec so that she might
enter into a discussion with Brother
Sefcik. Brother Mazanec held the chair
for the balance of this meeting.
Remuneration for statě and district
functions attended by the editor were
discussed. Brother Morris stated that
according to the by-laws, the editor
was allowed remuneration for statě
and district functions. Other functions
ean be approved by either the Supreme
Lodge president or vice president.
A recent articie, describing the beautiful 3Sth wedcllng; anniversary celebration
of Brother and Sister Leona Trojaeek appeared in the Věstník. This picture was
taken during that tía-y. Lodge No. 84 exíeusis congratuiafions, and we wish them

received by the Publication Committee
will be recognízed unless it bears the
signatuře of the person or persons writ-
ing the letter. Seconcled by Brother
Miculka. Motion carried.
A discussion was held on an articie
whieh appeared on the front page of
the Czech Section of the July 23 issue
of the Věstník. The editor was advised
to insert articles of this nátuře on
pages other than the front.

retary of the SPJST' By-Law Commit-
tee, for publication in the Věstník. Aft-

seconded by Brother Miculka to coneur
with proposed change. Motion carried.
Articie 49 — Motion made by Brother
Miculka, seconded by Brother Vrla to
leave articie in originál íorm. Motion
Articie 50-e — Motion by Brother
Vrla, seconded by Brother Hejl to rec-
ommend changes as submitted by the
Supreme Lodge. Motion carried.
Articie 51 — Recommended changes
as proposed by Supreme Lodge.
