Dear Members,
The Insurance Committee met Decem-
ber 8, 1979. Each district committee
member was present.
A lot of By-Law changes were discussed
and deliberated on and another meeting
will be held in March 1980.
If you háve a By-Law change or request
for additional information on adding,
changing or deleting anything pertaín-
ing to Insurance, please notify a
member of this committee. Request
should be made by written notification.

LODGE NO, 6, COJTONWOOD
Dear Readers,
The regular monthly meeting of
Lodge No. 6, Cottonwood was calíed to
order by President Robert Dobecka
Sunday, January 6th at 2:30 p.m.
Theresa Dobecka and Lanette Hykel
were called on to recite the pledge of
allegiance to the United States flag.
Theresa then recited the SPJST Pledge.
Secretary Barbara Hykel was called
on to call the roli of officers. They were
all present.
Flag Bearer Eddie Hykel reported 22
members present and one visitor,
Vestnik Editor Bro. Rudy Sefcik. Bro.
Sefcik gave a nice talk to the
membership and also installed the
lodge officers for 1980. We thank him
very much and come back soon and visit
with us!
Secretary Barbara Hykel read the
minutes of the previous meeting. They
were approved as read. All other
officers presented their reports and they
were all in order.
Youth Leader Willie Mae Schuetz
gave the youth ciub report. She stated
the youth will visit the West Rest Home
Wednesday, January 9th. The bake sále
in December was a good success. She
, thanked everyone who, in any way,
^ helped at the Christmas party and
program and also decorating the lodge.
Sister Schuetz read the rules for the
“Miss SPJST” contest for the 1980
SPJST Convention.
President Dobecka gave the Board of
Trustees’ report. He called on chairman
of the Board of Trustees George Straten
to give his report. He reported that he
will purchase supplies for the repairs of
the walkin-box and the closing up of
the west Windows in the lodge. The
work days will be announced later.
Sister Lydia Dobecka řeported on
those having birthdays, anniversaries,
and those on the sick list.
A speciál thank you was extended to
all the cooks and all those who brought
food for the Christmas party; also a
thank you goes to Sister Schuetz and
Upcoming Pages
