tournament. Havirsg two gyms avail-
able makes all of the difference in the
worid. The donation of the gymnasi-
ums for our SPJST State Volleybali
Tournament would not be possible
without the assistance of SPJST Lodge
200, Bruceville-Eddy lodge officers
and members. A gigabyte thank you
to Lodge 200 for a super job on host-
ing the event. We appreciate Lodge
200!s fraternal support.
!he 1999 SPJST State
Volleybali Tournaments held on
Saturday, November 13, was tlke
night to day from last year’s tour-
nament. I háve to say that Ibis years
tournament was especially enjoyable
for me as State Fraternal Activities
Coordinator. From the comments
made by many others most agreed the
day was enjoyable and much shorter
than last year’s.
This year, teams played round robin
again. The games were shortened to
one match per game instead of three
matches per game. A five point warm
up match was played if agreed to by
team leaders. This systém worked
well. Following the tournament, all
teams and attendees met in the gym for
an awards ceremony. The tournament
was over at 3:45 p.m.
