About Join Hands Day
Established in 2000, Join Hands
Day is sponsored by America’s
Fraternal Benefit Societies in partner-
ship with the Points of Light
Foundation and Volunteer Center
National Network. When young peo-
ple and adults begin to interact and
work together, they may be pleasantly
surprised by what they leam about
each other. Some adults and youth
may not háve much experience work-
ing with people of other generations.
This is why Join Hands Day can be an
important team-building project.
