Park spent the week end with
Sonny Robbins and Dickie
Gilbert.
Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Bishop
and Wanda Marie Wilmoth
attended church in Houston Sun-
day.
Mrs. Leon Chapman visited
friends and relatives in Humble
Sunday.
Mrs. M. H. Lewis and Mrs.
C. V. Hand and daughter Joyce
spent.Thursday with Mrs. L. B-
Bishop.
Edna Lee Clark is spending
the week in Conroe with Mrs.
C. B. Wilmoth
James Henry 0‘Boyle has just
recently received his wings at
Corpus Christi and was commis-
sioned 2nd Lieut in the Marine
Corp. He is spending a 15 day
furlough at home and will re-
turn to Corpus Christi for a
short period
Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wilmoth
of Conroe spent Saturday night
and Sunday at their home in
Humble. They took Wanda
Marie home with them after let-
ting her spend the week with
her grandparents.
Corporal I. B. Timme writes
from North Africa telling how
he likes the country. He says
they are getting the best of
food and so far seems to be as
far from the war as when he
was in the States.
Mrs. James Wiley Green
(Jewel Gleghorn) is home after
five months in Fort Ord, Cali-
fornia with her husband in
camp there.
Mrs. H A. Dale has received
a letter from Kenneth saying
that he was now at Kings Col-
lege in Tennessee studying to be
a pilot. He has been stationed
at,Miami Beach since March 15.
Rev. Hal Cunningham is at-
tending peeacher’s school in
Mrs. Johnnie May Baize of
Houston is spending the week
j in Humble visiting her mother,
i Ma Hale and family.
Mrs. L. L. Williamson is
visiting her mother Mrs. Ben
Tucker in Gatesville, Texas.

town over-Wednesday shaking
hands with old friends.
Frank Lindsey who was ser-
iously hurt in an automabile
accident last Sunday night is
reported to be still in a critical
condition in a Houston hospital.

fine baby boy, weighing eight
pounds, his name John Edward.
He was born at St. Joseph's In-
firmary in Houston.
