RB Auto opens
state of the art facility
On Monday, Oct. 16, R B Auto and Towing Service moved to its new and
enlarged facility located at 6034 Bellaire Blvd., at Rampart.
The company opened its first automotive and towing service in the city of
Bellaire in 1985 and has since then progressed from a small three-bay facility to
its current modem and very well organized 20-bay facility.
“Thanks to the support extended by the local community through its
continued patronage and the financial support of NCNB Bank and Citizens
National Bank, the company is proud to be a commercial member of this growing
neighborhood,” said a company spokesman.
The garage offers a comprehensive computer diagnostic-assisted automo-
tive service with the latest, sophisticated equipment in the industry. Services
range from simple jobs such as oil changes, lube jobs, tune-ups, a/c service to
major tasks such as engine repairs and transmission work. It sells major name
brand tires and does wheel alignment. The company has six bays for paint and
body work and has installed the top of the line paint booth in the industry.
All mechanics are ASE certified and some are even Master Mechanics. The
mechanics are required by company policy to continually update their skills and
knowledge of the new technology in this dynamic auto industry.
R B Towing Service, which complements the auto business, is an authorized
American Automobile Association (AAA) Emergency Road Service contract
facility. It is also affiliated with other major national motor clubs such as
AMOCO, Montgomery Ward, Cross Country Motor Club and ERS. The tow
trucks and the uniformed drivers are a familiar sight in the southwest neighbor-
hood. The company has a fleet of nine tow trucks and is in the process of adding
three more. The fleet includes three flatbeds and four wheel lifts. These vehicles
offer damage-free towing for all vehicles specially for the expensive domestic
and foreign cars with spoilers.
The business is owned and managed by two brothers, Harry and HR. Their
motto is “Customer satisfaction is paramount and there is no other substitute for
a business to succeed; no job is too big or small.”
The company is a member of the Bellaire/SW Houston Chamber of Com-
merce. It accepts all major credit cards. Its telephone number is 666-2020 and
open for business Monday through Saturday, from 8:15 a.m. till 7 p.m.
