Notes

Handwritten text at the top of the scrapbook page: "Our first birthday was held at a regular meeting date at 620 Pearl, November 17. We "pinned" a new member who was not able to continue after all. We had cake and candles just as a real party - 'punch' for the drink. Forgot to take pictures!"

Handwritten text on the paper pasted over the photographs: "'Play Day' for Scouts -- Saturday, November 21 from 10:30 until 3:00. To attend: 1. Dress in warm play clothes -- warm jeans or slacks - we hope to be outside. 2. Bring a pair of keds or tennis shoes to wear on the gym floor. Do not wear these shoes as cinders and sand would be tracked in that way. 3. Bring a sack lunch - a very simple one (- we promised there would be no greasy fried chicken on the gym floor in the event we have to eat inside). We will furnish drink and dessert. We will meet at North Texas Lab School Gym and playground."

Dimensions of photographs: approximately 8 x 9 cm.
