Plans are being made for
the Polk county girls to at-
tend the South Texas State fair
Nov. 5, which is National 4-H
club day. All girls \tho were
enrolled in a 4-H club by Nov.
1, of 138, will be entitled to
a pass into the fair grounds.
The girls will sing over the
radio at 11:30 on the Texas
farm home program.
One hundred and twenty-
five Polk county girls attend-
ed the fair on National 4-11
club day last year and a great-
er number is expected to at-
tend this year.

played during the evening and
Chinese tallies were used. Mrs.
