that a son haa been born ta Mr.
and Mrs. El wood McClain of
Berkley, California. The son has
been named Michael Curtis Mc-
Clain. and he arrived September
12, 1951 weighing 5 lbs. and 14
cos. with brown hair and blue
eyes. The father, "Woodte” Mc-
Clain was left without a mother
at the age of six months and was
raised by an aunt and uncle, Mr.
and Mrs. John Turner of Ring-
gold. He attended the Ringgold
school before his marriage, and
before going to the U. S. services.
His Ringgold friends wish for
Mr. and Mrs. McClain and little
son a happy future.
Miss Pearl Deerlng spent the
weekend with her sister, Mrs.
Sam Hall In Sherman.
