As you walk through the
entrance, the library circula-
tion desk is to your right. This
service provides a multitude
of services to library users: this
area is where materials are
checked out and returned;
course reserve materials are
managed for access and use;
and printouts from the public
computers are paid for and
picked up. Additionally, this
desk is usually the first stop
for anyone coming into the li-
brary who needs to be directed
to other library and media ser-
vice areas.
Operation of this important
area is overseen by Elva
Garza. Assisting her are Rob-
ert Campos, Vanessa Ramos,
and Vilma Ramos. Ruben
Guerrero and Ola Robinson
of Media Services, Cassandra
Rocha of Technical Services
and Pat Dolat of Computer
Operations also provide ser-
vices in a pinch. The librarian
in charge of this area is Jill
Zimmerman.
The library is open seven
days a week during the fall and
spring semesters. For the most
current hours of operation,
check the web page at
www.accd.edu/spc/lrc under
“Location and Hours.”
Resources are available
through the library’s web page
24/7 using the NetLibrary Col-
lection of electronic books,
Electronic Databases of ar-
ticles from journals, maga-
zines, and books, and Ask a
Reference Question.
