BY ERIN GREEN

Just call Kendall Hudson
a teen with a dream.
The Bastrop High School
junior, who plans to attend
Texas A&M University and
major in business, hopes to
open a sporting goods store
in Bastrop — one with a fea-
ture setting it apart from its
big-box competitors.
What will that feature be?
Hudson explained what she
envisions her store — which
she’s called Sportsbound —
will offer.
“One thing that will set
us apart from other sporting
goods businesses is that we
will have excellent customer
service,” Hutson said, noting
that she’d like to give shop-
pers a customized, personal-
ized experience so that they
will be sure to find exactly
