Change of meeting date for HCUWCD meeting
The meeting date for the Hemphill County Underground
Water Conservation District has been changed to Wednes-
day, May 22, at 1:30 pm, in the Hemphill County UWCD board
room. #20
Deadline for July 4th promotion material is Friday
The theme for the 2013 July 4th Parade is “125 years of
Canadian, Texas History,” according to Jackie McPherson,
Chamber events coordinator. The deadline to have informa-
tion for flyers, brochures and posters is May 17. It should be
submitted to the Chamber of Commerce office in the Visitors’
Center. Call 323.6234 for more information. McPherson noted
they will not be able to make any exceptions or accept any in-
formation after the deadline. #18
