RECENT VISIT TO BANK
Recently the students of 5B, Mrs
1 Rackley's room, took a field trip to
' the bank. Mr Havenhtll drove us
In the bus.
Mr. Johnston showed us around.
There was a machine that takes
pictures of every check that comes
through the bank He showed us
some of the pictures after they had
been developed Into flints He said
that they kept every roll of film
for 10 years. Then they were de-
stroyed
He also took us Into the vault
where the money Is kept.'Several
of the boys picked up $1,000 In
nickels We also saw some $1.00,
$2 00. $5 00, $20 00, $50.00 and
S100.00 bills We saw $1,000 in ten
dollar bills, and $1,000 in one dol-
lar bills.
We certainly had a very nice
time and appreciate them showing
us around.
