LAWRENCE
CLIFTON
1918-1992
FORT STOCKTON - Services
for Lawrence Clifton, 73, of Fort
Stockton, were held at 3:00 p.m.
Sunday at the First United Meth-
odist Church. Burial followed in
East Hill Cemetery, directed by
Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
Mr. Clifton died Friday, April
■ 10, 1992, in a Fort Stockton hos-
pital.
He was bom July 2, 1918, in
Sterling City and had lived in Fort
Stockton 21 years, moving to Fort
Stockton from Big Lake. He was a
salesman for an explosives com-
pany and a U.S. Army veteran of
Warld War II.
Survivors include his wife,
Betty Clifton of Fort Stockton; two
sons, Tom Clifton of Sonora and
Robin Clifton of Big Spring; two
daughters, Sherry Snyder of Fort
Stockton and Kathy Aquirrc of
Carson City, Nevada; six grand-
children and three great-grand-
children.

TEXAS CITY - Bradford H.
Treadwell, 80, of Texas City died
Thursday, April 9, at Danforth
Hospital in Texas City.
Services were held at 11:00a.m.,
Saturday, April 11, at Emkcn-
Linton Chapel with Rev. Richard
Baucrs officiating. Burial followed
services at Grace Memorial Park in
Hitchcock.
Bom November 20, 1911 in
Rogers, Texas, Mr. Treadwell was a
retired Pipefitter, member of
Northsidc Baptist Church and
Pipefitters Local #211, Veteran of
WWII. He was a resident of Texas
City since the 1930's and a well
known fisherman.
Survivors include his wife,
Rocille Treadwell of Texas City,
children, Joseph and Joy Lee
Robishcaux of Texas City, Richard
and Sharon Dell McReavy of Big
Lake, Texas, Brad Marcus and
Peggy Treadwell of Texas City;
brother, Maurice Treadwell of
Brownwood, Texas; beloved
grandchildren, J.P. and Colleen
Robishcaux, Jr., Renee and Richard
Robishcaux Yatcs.Chris McReavy,
Laura McReavy, and Holly
McReavy, Katie and Allison
Treadwell and Marcus Treadwell;
great grandchildren, Justin Yates
and Chad Yates, Danielle
Robishcaux, Natalie Robishcaux
and Gallic Robishcaux.
Mr. Treadwell served in Europe
during WWII, survived the Texas
City Explosion in 1947 and was
married for 45 years.

process of building a tennis program of excellence on the high school and
junior high level. The RCHS mother-daughter coaching team produced
district winners all the way around this year.
