Alencon lace appliques

empire waist and flowed
into a chapel length
Watteau train, edged in
lace. A fingertip vail of

with Alencon lace and

which had belonged to
her late great grand-
mother, Mrs. J. D.
Coulter, and a blue
garter made by Mrs.
Gladinc Teele.
The bridal bouquet
was a cascade of white
roses, white mums, and
stephonotis with ivory

Gardener of the Week
By Lorene Rees
The colorful yard of
Mr. and Mrs. H. L.
Gardner, 406 Plaza is
the Gardner of the Week
selection for this week.
The driveway is outlined
with Michaelmas Daisies
in full bloom. There is a
bed of Red Cannas on
the West side of the
entrance and Four
o'clocks on the North.
Honeysuckle vines
cling to the wrought iron
supports in the
carport. There are pretty
hanging baskets of
fantazia under the car-
port. On the south side
is a pecan tree and Pom-
egranate bush.
The enclosed attrac-
tive back yard has 2
large mesquite trees, a
large apple tree, an
apricot and a date tree.
A Iron wash pot is filled
with succullents. Mich-
aelmas daisies are on the
east side of the back
yard and more lantana
bushes. A vegetable
garden still has tomato
and pepper plants. The
shaded area looks very
inviting for visiting or
just "setting".
