Also known as the Sarah Riddle Eager House, it was built in 1866 as a wedding gift. Three photographs show the house in very poor physical condition. The first photo actually shows a small limestone structure that was built behind the main house and might have served as a kitchen. A fourth photograph is a simple sketch of the outline and dimensions of the house. The house is located in an area that was redeveloped because of HemisFair '68. The first photo actually shows a small limestone structure that was built behind the main house and might have served as a kitchen. A fourth photograph is a simple sketch of the outline and dimensions of the house. The house is located in an area that was redeveloped because of HemisFair '68. Some of the 19th and early 20th century buildings in the area were preserved and others were demolished to make way for the fair. This house was preserved and housed the Southern Baptist exhibit during HemisFair.
