News was received of the death
ot Miss Mat Moore which occurred
from a stroke of paralysis on the
22d ac San Marcos where she
lived with her niece Mrs L Per
ry L Perry came with the re
mains Friday morning and they
were taken to residence of W F
Jones from where funeral was
held at 3 oclock with interment
in Oakwood cemetery Miss Mat
was a resident of Jefferson many
year8s and a most noble christian
woman Relatives and friends
here sorrow at her death
Mrs M A Stealey died at the
home of her daughter Mrs Emma
Terry at 315 Friday morning
Mrs Stealey though in feeble
health was sick only a few days
The funeral will take pfece some-
time Saturday
