Seventeen members of Brownie
Troop 4 attended a Hallowe’en
party at the St. John’s Methodist
Church Wednesday, October 22.
Games were played with prizes
going to the winners.
Contest winners at the party
were Judy Lumpkins, Mary Sum-
mers, Carolyn Pennington, Willyne
Lamb, Shirley Bien and Janice
Goehler.
Mrs. Larry Nabholtz
Heads Texas Society
For Crippled Children
Mrs. Larry Nabholtz was elect-
ed Resident of the Texas Society
for Crippled Children at the an-
nual meeting held recently ir Aus-
tin.
Mrs. Nabholtz has devoted tho
ini- { past ten years to helping Texas’
i crippled children. She wai elected
to the Board of Directors cf the
state organization in 19-15 and
served as Treasurer until her re-
cent election as President.
She has traveled extensively in
Continental Europe and spent
many months in England, Ireland,
and Scotland studying welfare
problems.
Working with the Dallas Wo-
nen of Rotary, Dallas Society for
Crippled Children, Dallas Plan
Commission and many other or-
ganizations Mrs. Nabholtz has in-
stilled some of her enthusiasm for
that a^f new members wo^ld make Detter,n8 the living and working
their Brownie Scout pledge and
receive their Brownie Scout Pin
at the November 5 meeting.
