noon at Saint Paul’s Fellowship
Center in recognition of their
25th wedding anniversary.
Receiving with Mr. and Mrs.
Pfeifer were their daughters,
Miss Kathie Pfeifer, Mrs. Will-
iam Sturm and Mr. Sturm of
Port Lavaca, Mrs. Pfeifer's mo-
ther, Mrs. Herman Buchhorn
and Mr. Pfeifer’s mother, Mrs.
Ernest Pfeifer.
Their attendants of 25 years
ago were present and included
Mrs. Oar a Roggenkamp, Mrs.
Leon Woylasezyk of San Anto-
nio, Edmund Mueller and Helno
Johnson.
The register table held an ar-
rangement of white carnations.
Miss Lynn Alex presided at the
register, assisted by Misses

Mrs. Pfeifer wore an after-
noon gown of blue embroidered
silk, sheath styled with silver
trim. Her accessories w
white and her corsage was of
feathered white carnations with
jeweled tulle.
The refreshment table over-
laid In white, was centered with
an arrangement of white mums,
silver leaves and a silver em-
blem ’25". At each side stood a
silver candelabra with white
burning tapers. Serving were
Mrs. Doris Schorlemer of San
Antonio, Mrs. Lenofra Mahan
and Mrs. June Buchhorn.
During the afternoon a pro-
gram of music was presented.
Included were Daniel Potdnske,
Linda Alex. Penny Lou Hamil-
ton, Mrs. Anton Koopmann.

entertained with an afternoon
open house Sunday from three
until six o’clock and a dance
from eight to twelve o’clock
June 6 at the Yorktown Commu-
nity Center in recognition of
their fiftieth wedding anniver-
sary.
An arrangement of gold fleck-
ed mums with gold leaves and
a mass of garden flowers in
gold and yellow with gilded
magnolia leaves enhanced the
center. Receiving were Mr. and
Mrs. Mueller, their two daugh-
ters and husbands; Mr. and
Mrs. Frankie Hale of Yorktown
and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Galdt of
Victoria.
Mrs. Billy Hale and Mrs. Pat
Laafce were at the guest book
in which several hundred call-
ers were registered for tht af-
ternoon and the same number
for toe evening.
Mrs. Mueller’s gown was a
formal Dock of Shocking pink
with gold trim, accented by a
gold necklace. She wore two
large orchids with gold Jeweled
tulle.
The buffet table was laid
with gold net ever satin. The
eenterpieee was of gold and
white mums with gold leaves
and miniature gold bells at the
baae of the gold urn. Gold tap-
ers burned in gold holders. Al-
ternating In serving were Mrs.
Don Hansen, Mrs. Don Mueller,
Mrs. Pat Doyle, Mrs. George
Lawman, Mrs. Frank Gosney
and Miss Hedy Galda.
