Fairlanc GTA in 1966, Select Shift permits the driver to shift
manually or autom itically. Ford's new styling features sculp-
tured side panels and a gull wing design grille (hat is die-cast in
the X/l., LTD and ( ountry Squire series. Engineering improve-
mi nis give (he 1967 Ford an even quieter and smoother ride. All
Ford models will be on di play at Ford dealer showrooms Friday,

Stviing changes for the 1967 Fairlanc. which was completely
redesigned for 1966. include taillights divided by back-up lights
as shown on (lie Fairlane X/l. Hardtop above and a dramatic
new grille treatment as il'u-trated on the F airlane 5f0 4 door
sedan below. Interior styling is new as well with color-coordi-
nated, clotlnand-vjnvI combinations. Fairlane models go on dis-
