1 AN ACT
2 relating to a voluntary donation to the fund for veterans'
3 assistance when applying for a hunting or fishing license.
4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
5 SECTION 1. Section 434.017(a), Government Code, is amended
6 to read as follows:
7 (a) The fund for veterans' assistance is a special fund in
8 the state treasury outside the general revenue fund. The fund is
9 composed of:
10 (1) money transferred to the fund at the direction of
11 the legislature;
12 (2) gifts and grants contributed to the fund;
13 (3) the earnings of the fund;
14 (4) money transferred to the fund from proceeds of the
15 lottery game operated under Section 466.027 or transferred to the
16 fund under Section 466.408(b);
17 (5) money deposited to the credit of the fund under
18 Section 502.1746, Transportation Code; [e-4]
19 (6) money deposited to the credit of the fund under
20 Section 521.008, Transportation -Code; and
21 (7) money deposited to the credit of the fund under
22 Section 12.007, Parks and Wildlife Code.
23 SECTION 2. Subchapter A, Chapter 12, Parks and Wildlife
24 Code, is amended by adding Section 12.007 to read as follows:
