Library celebrates reading winners
Summer reading for the
4-12 year old group ended
July 26 at the Gladys HJohn-
son Ritchie Public Library.
Fifty-seven children read,
enjoyed programs, did crafts,
and escaped the summer
heat every Tuesday morning
throughout June and July ;
the library while maintaining
eading skills.

Helping pass out awards and
drawing for prizes was Jan
Hansen from the Jacksboro
National Bank.

Woodruff reading 190 books.
She received a $50 savings
bond from the First National
Bank of Jacksboro.
Reading at least 50 books
were Gisela Ruiz, Emma
Moore, Gracie Moore, Libby
Moore, Trey Berry, Michael
Berry, and Rebecca Pursley,
all of whom received skate-
boards.
Winners of favorite DVDs
for reading 40 books were
JR Richardson and Ashton
Powell. Layla Joslin won a
stuffed animal for reading 25
books. Most of the remainder

for 10 books.
For every 10 books read,
participants got to enter their
name in the drawing for the
grand prize bicycle. This
year’s winner was Addie
Moore.
Also winning big were
Ramiro Bustos and Woodruff
who each won a skateboard.
Other drawing winners for
Frisbees, balls, jump ropes,
and bubble wands were Gra-
cie Moore, Trey Berry, Josh-
ua Ward, Tayte Ward, Jaxton
Ward, Emma Moore, Dani-
elle Richardson, JR Richard-
son, Edwin Delgado, Pursley,
and Christina Bustos. Fol-
lowing the awards, the chil-
dren enjoyed cupcakes and
punch.
