THE ARCHER COUNTY NEWS — THURSDAY, MARCH 3R, 1978 — PACE THREE
THORST ECHOES
by Mrs. Frank Wachsmann
Members of the Christian
Mothers Society met last
week and were given an
interesting demonstration by
the Volunteer firemen of
Windthorst, on the use of
the new Scott air tank and
pointers on what to do in
case of a house fire. They
also listed items in the home
that give off poisonous
gasses when burning, so
therefore it is not wise to
re-enter a house while it is
burning. Giving this
demonstration were: Jim
and Kenny Wolf and Luis
Carcano.
The society will give $100
for the dishwasher recently
installed in the parish hall
and to the Volunteer fire
department. Plans were
completed for the picnic on
Easter Monday. Coffee and
punch were served to 24
members.
