Archer City Seniors Leave
Monday For South Texas Trip
To the people of the 86th
District
I am very proud of the campaign just
completed.
I ALONE did not campaign on Sun-
day, nor will I do so.
I ALONE did not give in to the pres-
sure groups.
I ALONE went ONLY where I was
invited or had business.
I ALONE was not and have no desire
to become a professional politician.
I ALONE did not talk about my op-
ponents or their campaigns, but the
time has come to relate a few facts to
you. My remaining opponent is 22 years
old, lacks three years finishing law
school if he chooses to complete his ed-
ucation, and is engaged in the oil busi-
ness with his brother with offices ip
Wichita Falls.
I am 27 years old, have over two
years experience as a lawyer, and farm
and ranch on the side.
The State Representative’s job dur-
ing the session is a full-time job. The
only reason I want to go to Austin is to
represent you. When the Legislature^ is
not in session I will be in the District
working, rather than in Austin going to
school.
I will wage a vigorous ^hoe-leather
campaign and trust that everyone of
you will come out on June 4 and vote.
If honesty, hard work, and qualifica-
tions mean anything, I will be your next
representative.
I want to thank my supporters for the
wonderful support you gave me in the
First Primary.
“We have just begun to fight.’’
