Position with unlimited opportunity now open with chance for
rapid advancement and pay doubled each year!
Sounds like there is a - atch somewhere, but there isn’t It’s
on the level.
The city of Taft will need a now mayor and two couneiimcn (las
April. The mayor and one commissioner have announced for re-elec-
tion. The other ccmmissionei will rot. be a candidate for re-election
The Tribune believes that the present city commission has done
a good job dining their tenure of office and that the two men seeking
re-election should be returned to office in order that the city can
reap the benefits of their experience . This leaves ora position to be
filled.
Taft needs a commission Unit will work in harmony anyone
recking personal glory or special favors should look elsewhere for a
job. A man who files for a spot ,.n the city commission can expert
a certain amount of guff, but he can also have the satisfaction of doing
a needed job in a growing city There is a real civil challenge open
to? men on the Taft City Commission
But hurry, all candidate* must file before mid-night Saturday.
