last Wednesday afternoon at the
home of Mrs. IS. E. DeVilbiss.

Krebs.
There were five tables of brid-
ge and one of canasta. High
score at bridge was made by
Mrs. Max Fioerke, Jr., the sec-
ond high prize went to Mrs. C.
H. Mayo, the low score prize
to Mrs. T. D. Threodgill. Jr.
and the bingo prize went to
Miss Cardwell.
The hostesses presented Miss

A meeting of the Dorcas Class
was held last. Thursday night
at the First Baptist Church. Hos-
tesses were Mrs. A. V. Wyatt
and Mrs. E. G. Brown.
Mrs. W. T. Lancaster present-
ed the devotional, after which
Mrs. Gonnan Ritchie showed
slides of her trip lo Europe.
During the social period the
hostesses served punch and cake
to 18 ladies. An arrangement,
of bachelor buttons and zinnias
formed the centerpiece for the
