.Hey. W N Sloan, retired Baptist
minister, agen 72 years old, and form-
erly a resident of Sinton, was hit
an automobile Saturday afternoon, |
May 23, 1921. in t,he city of San An- j
tnnio Immediately after the accident |
he was taken to the Robert E. Green j
Hospital, where he died in a short |
time.
The driver of the ear was. arrested
on a charge of negligent homicide and
placed under bond.
Rev, Sloan leaves a widow, who is j

After' a residence of several years
in Sinton, they moved to Portland
something like a year ago. and a
month or two ago Mrs. Sloan’s health
becoming so much worse, Rev. Sloan
went with her to San Antonio for med-
ical treatment, ahd were residing at
323 Pox Avenue.
The funeral was held at San Antonio
Sunday under the auspices of the
Sinton Masonic. Lodge, of which Rev.
Sloan was a member
