MISCELLANEOUS.
•pHE LOST CAUSE.
A magnificent picture, 14x18 inches in
size, printed on heavy plate paper, beau-
tiful in design and artistic in execution.
It represents a Confederate soldier alter
the war, returning to his home, which lie
finds lonely and desolate. In front of the
ruined cottage, telling a sad tale of life
miseries ol war, are two graves with ri de
crosses, on one of which some friendly
hand has hung a garland. To the right
the calm river and the rising moon indi-
cate peace and rest. The stars seen
through the trees represent the Southern
Cross. It is a picture that will touch
every Southern heart, and should find a
place in every Soutnern home. Sent by
mail, mounted on s. roller and post paid
on receipt of 25 cents, or 3 for 60 cents.

quent use of Fluid Lightning, 1 regard it
as a great remedial agent for neuralgia
and all nervous pains.
L. M. Shreve, Attorney at Law,
89 Clark street.
Fluid Lightning acts instantly and ef-
fects a permanent cure when all other
remedies fail. It does not redden or
blister the skin, is perfectly safe, and in-
stantly cures 19 out of 20 cases of nervous
pains. CALL AND TRY 1T-1T
COSTS YOU NOTHING. Tne wonder-
ful success of this remedy has led un-
principled persons to imitate it. None
