members had been issued an
invitation to attend a salad
luncheon Tuesday, June 22, at
the First United Methodist
Church here. Tire devotional
presentation followed, and as
the meeting concluded, refresh
ments were served to the
attending group by Mrs.
Bruner, hostess.
Those present were Mrs. J.
W. Hunter, Mrs, Curtis Street,
Mrs. John Pender, Mrs. Verda
Moore, Mrs. Henry Stuart,
Mrs, J. A. Hunter, Mrs. Willard
Gage and Mrs. John Lauder.
The next meeting of the
group, it was announced, will
be held Thursday. September 2
at the Fellowship Hall.

Wilbourne Fred Campbell, to
Kyle Moseley of Rochelle,
Texas. Kyle is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ron E. Garnett and
the late Hubert J. Moseley.
Ann is a graduate of Coleman
High School and Texas Tech
University where she received
her degree in elementary
education with kindergarten
certification. Kyle graduated
from Rochelle High School and
attended Texas Tech. Follow-
ing their marriage on August 7,
they will reside in Rochelle
where Kyle is engaged in
ranching.

SURPRISE PARTY
Darla Hagler and her uncle,
Wayne Neff, were honored
with a surprise birthday party
Saturday in the Wayne Neff
home in Monahans. Hostess
was Mrs. Neff and guests in
addition to the honorees were

Douglas and Norma Hagler,
and the Guy Greer family. Ice
cream and cake were served.
Silver Valley Home Demon-
stration Club met last Wednes-
day afternoon in the home of
Mrs. Nell Bruner with Mrs.
Curtis Street as co-hostess.
Mrs. Willie Blair and Mrs.
Bruner presented a bicentenn-
ial program, Mrs. Blair conclud-
ing the presentation with a
poem, “Sam Houston’s Wife.”

Anderson, Council Delegate;
Mrs. R. 0. Whitt, secretary;

delegate to the state meeting.

Mr. and Mrs. Mac An|derson,
Owners and manager of the
White’s Auto Store in Coleman,
recently attended the semi-ann-
ual merchandise showing held
May 24-25 at the Statler Hilton
Hotel in Dallas.
The Andersons were part of
a group of over 200 dealers
from a seven state area who
attended the meetings and
viewed the merchandise to be
offered for the 1976 fall and
Christmas season.
