MASONRY IN TEXAS
The Ninth Semi-annual reunion was held on March 21-25, 1910.
The statement of disbursements for April shows a banquet at Hotel
St. Regis and cigars at a total cost of $166.
On May 9, 1910, at the regular meeting of the Lodge of Perfec-
tion, resolutions for the government of an executive committee for
the fall reunion were adopted. A full and complete record of same
was to be kept in a book by the secretary. A letter of thanks was
sent to El Paso Lodge No. 130, El Paso Chapter No. 157, R. A. M.,
and El Paso Commandery No. 18, K. T., for use of the lodge room
on the third floor of the Masonic Temple, and also for their kindness
in loaning their robes for the use of the Scottish Rite Bodies. The
Building Fund trustees were authorized to loan the sum of $1000
for one year to the Masonic Hall Association at 8%. The firm of
Thurston and Longnecker was employed to audit the books of the
secretary and treasurer twice a year.
On May 16, 1910, the Consistory decided to apply for member-
ship in the Quatuor Coronati (the Four Crowned Martyrs), Lodge
No. 2076 of London, England.
On June 13, 1910, a press committee composed of J. J. Ormsbee,
W. J. Eustace, and T. C. Lea was appointed to write for the different
Masonic magazines.
On October 10, 1910, the chairman of the Scottish Rite Benevolent
Association Trustees was instructed to sign the contract for paving
West Missouri Street fronting on the property belonging to the Asso-
ciation, and at the same time to make a contract for the placing of
curbing on the same street.
The Tenth Semi-annual Reunion was held on October 24-28,
1910. The program indicated that the following had attained the
33 0, Honorary, at El Paso up to this time:
