Reba Wadel BBG
BY TJERYE BOCK
A picnic, a watermelon party,
a chicken dinner, a slumber
party, meetings, fund-raising
projects, and poster parties are
only a few of the many Wadel
activities held during the past
few weeks. Each Monday even-
ing is set aside as nominee
night, and our six nominees are
entertained with a different pro-
ject each week.
Under the leadership of Leon-
ette Morrison, Wadels have plan-
ned a very busy .six months.
Among) the many projects which
are being planned are the fol-
lowing: a visit to Golden Acres,
a visit to an orphans home, a
panel discussion, a bicycle ride,
a shipwreck dance, a nursery
visit, slumber parties, a hair-do
contest, a nut party, and an ad-
viser appreciation project.
Wadels are pleased to an-
nounce that our own Bobby
Bauer (our beau) has arrived
home from a vacation in Europe.
Our beau dance, August 11, will
honor Bobby.

LOUIS KLAYMAN MARKETS
A NEW SENSATION
IN CHICKEN DINNERS
After two years of extensive
experimentation and develop-
ment, the Farmer’s Best Foods,
Tyler, Texas, owned and oper-
ated by Louis Klayman, well-
known in the poultry industry
throughout the Nation, has
created the Farmer’s Best Chick-
en Dinners packed under
U.S.D.A. Inspection.
The five Chicken Dinners are
Chicken and Rice, Chicken and
Noodles, Gizzards and Rice, Giz-
zards and Noodles and Spanish
Style Chicken and Rice.
The Dinners are made from
choice pieces of young chickens
with the finest long grain rice
and special egg noodles with the
finest of seasoning. Many of the
seasoning ingredients are im-
port. The seasoning for Chicken
and Rice, Chicken and Noodles,
Gizzards and Rice and Gizzards
and Noodles is a delicious Jew-
ish type seasoning, which rings
a bell—“the kinda flavor Mama
usta have.” The Spanish Style
Chicken and Rice is of a mild
spicy flavor. People of all ages
find all these dinners very pleas-
ing to the taste. For smaller
children half of it is enough.
The 12-oz. Chicken Dinner is
in a compact golden aluminum
package. It can be heated and
eaten in 15 to 20 minutes. One
of the great features of this din-
ner is that it can be heated in
the pan in a covered skillet
which eliminates heating an
oven and creating a hot kitchen.
It can also be heated in an oven.
Mr. Klayman stressed that
“Farmer’s Best Chicken Dinner
has as much meat in it as other
dinners that sell for almost
twice as much. The value and
the quality is so great that they
have been accepted and sold by
the largest retail food outlets in
the Nation, such as A&P Super
Markets and Big Chain (Kroger)
Shreveport and Tom Thumb
Supermarkets in Dallas.”

DALLAS’ ONLY WEEKLY ENGLISH-JEWISH NEWSPAPER
MOW IN OUR SIXTEENTH YEAR
WARNING TO ADVERTISERS
Dear Friends:
The Texas Jewish Post. Dallas’ only weekly English-Jewish newspaper, thanks you for
your recognition and support through the past years.
It is with the help of business firms such as yours that the Texas Jewish Post has been ac-
claimed nationally as one of the top weekly English-Jewish newspapers in the country.
At this time of year, prior to our Jewish New Year High Holidays in September, we ask
you to be particularly aware that the newspaper you advertise in is the TEXAS JEWISH
POST, Dallas’ only weekly English-Jewish newspaper serving the Greater Dallas area for
more than 16 years.
Unethical solicitors are now preying on Texas Jewish Post advertisers in a nefarious at-
tempt to confuse the businessman and have him place advertising in pseudo publications
that have no local circulation. Usually, they try to collect in advance. We urge you as a
matter of self protection to follow these steps;
1. Advertise in your only local English-Jewish newspaper—the TEXAS JEWISH
POST.
2. DO NOT pay for advertising in advance.
3. Demand to see proof of identification from strangers.
If there are any further questions, we ask you to check with our local agencies or with
this newspaper .
Our staff is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every week of the year. If we can be
of help to you at any time, please call on us. Thanking you again, we are,
Respectfully yours,
JIMMY WISCH, PUBLISHER
TEXAS JEWISH POST
The only authorized solicitors of the Texas Jewish Post are Chester Wisch, Betty Wisch,
Jimmy Wisch, Rene Wisch and Mildred Moore.
