WITH CLARE
Concluding parties for Rusti Steinhorn and her fiance,
Chuck Heilbron, include a Recipe shower and luncheon at
the Columbian Club on July 29 given by Mrs. A1 Sweet,
Mrs. Harold Lustig and Mrs. William Katz. On July 30
Mrs. Hal Robins, Mrs. Richard Erlanger and Miss Mary
Robins were luncheon hostesses at The Chimney. The bride-
elect’s Sorority sisters at Oklahoma University: Miss Kathy
Berger, St. Louis; Miss Gloria Isler, Elizabeth, N.J.; and
Mrs. Larry Stern, Dallas, hosted the Spinster dinner at
Vick’s on August 7. A bridesmaid’s luncheon will be given
by Miss Karen Miller on August 8 at Ports O’ Call. That even-
ing aunts and uncles of the bride, Messers and Mesdames Mor-
ris Miller, Max Miller and Henry Miller will host a cocktail
party at the home of the former, 11306 Hillcrest. The
groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Heilbron, 10408 Page-
wood, will be hosts for cocktails and dinner, Saturday even-
ing, at the Dallas Athletic Club. The wedding will be held
Sunday at Shearith Israel.
Among the out of town guests expected are Mr. and Mrs.
Sam Cooper and family, Omaha, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Jeff
Miller, San Angelo,; Mrs. Ray Stekoll and Melvin Stekoll,
Austin; Oscar Stekoll, Houston; Marion Stekoll, Enid, Okla-
homa; Mr. and Mrs. Philip Stekoll and family, Okmulgee,
Okla.; and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stekoll, Wichita, Kansas.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lillie L. Steinhorn,

shire. Mrs. Louis Donsky and daugh-

ternek plan an August 24 wedding
at Shearith Israel.
Sharon (Shel) Robbins, August
24 bride-to-be of Cyril David Kas-
mir, is having a merry whirl of
bridal parties. On August 5 Mrs.
M. Paul Goodfried and daughter
Kay hosted a kitchen shower at

wedding party and family will be
guests of Mrs. Helen Schlessinger
and Mrs. Harold Resnik at the
Resnik home, 6530 Crestpoint on
August 9. The following day Mrs.
S. Belofsky will entertain at a
Camper shower and Brunch at her
Susan Gaye Spiritas and Michael
Elliott Davidoff will be honored at
a dinner-dance August 8 by Paul
Rabinowitz and Daniel Rabinowitz,
at the Columbian Club prior to
their August 10 wedding at Shearith
Israel. The groom’s parents, Mr.
and Mrs. David Davidoff of Houston
will be Rehearsal dinner hosts,
Saturday evening in the Embassy
Room at the Statler Hilton. Re-
latives expected for the wedding in-

mer studying at the University of
Salamanca in Spain with the Amer-
ican Institute for Foreign Study.
After completing his term of study
he visited in North Africa before
returning home. Randy, son of

Yamini, an honor student is a
junior at Hillcrest Hi and has served
as Page in the Indiana Senate.
Mrs. Dora Goldstein is back from
a delightful trip to San Francisco.
Dr. and Mrs. A.A. Fox chose the
Gulf Coast for a relaxing fishing
trip. It has been a happy, merry
Summer for Charlotte and David
Hafter, 3804 Mockingbird Lane,
who hosted their children Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Hafter and children
of Santa Anna, Calif., and the
Ervin Hafters of Berkley, Calif.
They also welcomed home, Mr.
Hafter’s sister and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Amber and daughter
Barbara, who have been residents
of Hawaii for the last several years.
Just before the Ambers left they
gave their daughter, Gayle Amber
in marriage to Jack Wolf of Pennsyl
vania. The Wolfs are living in
Honolulu at presentt
Rev. and Mrs. Morris Agranoff
are looking forward to a month on
the West Coast.
BOBBY AUSTEIN
Bobby Austein, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Murray Austein, 7423 Baxter-
shire, is in Israel on a George A.
Levy B’nai B’rith Lodge Scholar-
ship. After leaving Starlight, Pa.
where he attended a three day or-
ientation program, he was one of
45 youths across the country cho-
sen for their activities with BBYO
to summer in Israel. He will spend
10 days living on Kibutz Naan,
visit King Solomon’s Mines, many
B’nai B’rith projects, plant trees in
the John F. Kennedy Forest, visit
the Hadassah Hospital and for seven
weeks attend the Israel Summer In-
stitute. After stopping in Geneva
for three days he will attend the
International Convention of BBYO
in Starlight, Pa. returning home
August 25.
