In order to assure an evening
of enjoyable entertainment long
to be remembered the L. F.
Shanblum Lodge of B’nai
B’rith has engaged for its An-
nual Presidents Ball one of'the
Country’s top dance bands. It
will be a red-letter day at the
Crystal Ball Room of the Hotel
Texas when CHUCK CABOT
brings his nationally famous
orchestra of all-star musicians
and entertainers to the gala
affair of the year Sunday, Au-
gust 29th.
It was Maestro CHUCK
CABOT, who gave the nation
such top record hits as “DOWN
THE L I N E”, “ON THE
BEACH AT BALI-BALI”, and
“RAG, RAG, RAGGEDY
MOON”.
Accredited as one of the
Country’s top dance bands,
broadcasting over all coast-to-
coast radio networks, plus the
top dance parade spot on his
famous recording of “DOWN
THE LINE”, the CABOT
special engagement is hearlded
as the high-light dancing en-
gagement of the year.
The fresh-looking, musician-
ly and hustling CABOT or-
chestra features the ultimate
in music for dancing and listen-
ing pleasure, embellished with
the singing of the beautiful and
talented Lyn Avalon, a well-
blended vocal corps, glee club
ensembles, comedy and musical
novelties and a Gay Nineties
