CORRECTION
In last week's story about high-
way right-of-way cases the Bee
reported that B. L. Moreland was
awarded $4500 damages for right-
of-way at the Corral in Silsbee,
and that the Hart right-of-way
property settlement near Kountze
was $3800.
The story then said, “Mr. Hart
had first asked $9000 for his in-
terest and Mr. Moreland asked
$15,000 at first. Mr. (Judge Flet-
cher) Richardson said he thought."
Houston Thompson called the
Bee last week in the interest of
Mrs. Moreland and said the
$13,000 figure was in error and
tint the Morelands had never
more than $5000 damages.
Bee regrets the error and
is glad to make this correction.
