Perspective," by Don Weill.
As I am now, in what is called,
the senior group, it was very
interesting to pick up this little book
_ f and give it a read. As one reviewer
noted, "Reading Don Weill's book of
poetry.....is like eating popcorn.
Once you start, you can't stop and
reaching the end, you wish there
were much more."

Pat Thompson's sister Wanda
Novis had a hip replacement and got
a staff infection. She is doing better
now. Paf s Aunt Ruth Elms is in the
Comanche hospital.
Carlton lost another long time
resident with the passing of Geoige
Grew. Our sympathy is extended to
the Greer Family.
Nan injured in
motorcyde wreck
Jeff Strube, 18, of Proctor, was
seriously injured Saturday when he
lost control of his motorcycle going
around a curve near Stephenville.
He was first transported to Harris
Methodist-Erath and then
careflighted to Harris-Fort Worth
where he is undeigoing treatment
for various injuries.
As of Wednesday, his condition
was reported to be improving and
he could go home Thursday.
His injuries included injured
vertebra, which was causing the
most concern, a tom liver and a
bruised kidney.
He is being fitted for a back
brace. '
JackJflwmas Latimer
Jake-0 and Evelyn Latimer would like to announce the birth of their baby
brother Jack Thomas Latimer. He was bom July 30,2007 at Harris Methodist
in Stephenville. He weighed 7 lbs. 6.5 oz, and was 20 inches long.
Proud parents are Jacob and Tracy Latimer. Maternal grandparents are
Beatris Almaguer of Dublin the late Albert Stone Almaguer of DeLeon, and
Manuela Estrada of Dublin. Paternal grandparents are Sandra Thompson and
Gerold Joseph Thomas Thompson. Great grandparents are Barbra and Marty
Nielsen of N.M., Joe Madruga, and the late Kenneth Webb.
Youth worship nights
City wide Youth Worship Nights will be held Aug. 15 and 22 at the Dr.
Pepper Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Come and praise the Lord with the Body of Christ in Dublin as youth lead
tire whole night of worship.
This event is completely free for the entire Dublin Youth Community.
