Dr. Bauman holds the A.B?.'
S.T.B.. L.H.D.. and PhD^degrees
from DePauw ^University and
Boston University.
His 10-year weekly television
program has been successful in
cities of 'the United States and

world. The Washington Post tele-
vision critic. Lawrence Laurent,
described him. as "a gifted teach-
er combining the discipline of
learning with the joy of com-
municating the .story of the Ju-
deo-Christian faiths."
Dr. Bauman has authored, four
.hooks. They are: Intercessory
Prayer; The Life and Teaching
of Jesus; An Introduction to the
New Testament; and Beyond Be-
lief.

Campus-wide recognition of ail
campus organizations and out-
standing workers is the goal of
the all-school banquet sponsored
by Quadrangle, honorary schol-
astic" sorority for women.
The banquet, set for April 23
at 5:30 p.m. in Dora Roberts Din-
ing Hall, will be the first of its
kind ever held on the TWC cam-
pus. All students and faculty are
invited to attend and recognize
the campus organizations and
outstanding members.
This all-school banquet will in
no way take the place of the
Awards Day ceremonies at the
closing of the semester.
Decorations for the event will
be furnished by the various clubs
participating and will'include the
club's emblem or sheild. Quad-
rangle requests that these em-
blems be in Bridgets Ford's room
in Elizabeth Hall by Apr. 21
A list including the names of
each member "planning to attend
the banquet should be turned in
to Quadrangle so that the ap-
probate number of dinners may be
ordered.
All campus organizations are
included in the plans for the
banquet, induing the Student
Association, classes, social clubs,
departmental organizations, relig-
ous organizations, honorary so-
cieties and social organizations. ..
NEWEST HONOREE5 on campus are Steve Walker and Vicki
Herring who were named last Saturday night as Mr. and Miss
TWC at a dance in the Western Hills Hotel. The couple was
selected for the honor last month by popular vote on the basis
of accomplishments and contributions to the campus.

Peters To Head Rams
As Basketball Coach
TWC has announced the ap-
pointment of A1 Peters, former
Ohio State University basketball
star, as head basketball coach.
Peters, who has served as as-
sistant basketball coach and
baseball coach at TWC this year,
succeeds Elmer Hanebutt, who
resigned in February from the

Peters was an All-State high
school basketball plaver at New
Lebanon. Ohio. He played varsity
basketball at Tr.e Ohio State
University, where he was named
to the .-Mi-Big Ten Basketball
Academic Team. After receiving
his bachelor of science degree at
Ohio State in 1966. Peters earned
his master's degree at Kent State
University in 196*.
