Personals
Mike Biggerstaff, son of Mr.
and Mrs. B. L. Biggerstaff, was
unable to go to school recently be-
cause of illness.
Mrs. C. W. Griffith and her son,
David, who had for several months
made their home with Mrs. Grif-
fith’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. E.
Skidmore, here, returned to their
home in Dallas last week-end. Mr.
Griffith, recently discharged from
the Seabees, and who had been in
the Philippines for eight months,
returned home about three weeks
ago.
Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Baxter and
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Clark of Fort
Worth visited Mr. and Mrs. Ray-
mond O’Brien Sunday.
Mrs. John Robinson of Sanger
has received word that her son-in-
law, Homer Cook, of Alabama,
died Tuesday morning of a heart
attack. Rev. and Mrs. C. B. Gar-
rett, Tom Perkins, and Mrs. G. H.
Meachum visited Mrs. Robinson in
Sanger Tuesday. Mrs. R. N. Walk-
er and Miss Nora Perkins spent
Tuesday night with Mrs. Robinson.

Guests of Mr. and Mrs. George
Meachum Sunday were Mrs. Ag-
nes Marrs of Tyler, Mr. and Mrs.
G. R. Carpenter of Dallas, and
Mrs. Roy McWilliams and children,
Nancy and Truman of Irving.
Floyd Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs.
W. D. Jones of Gunter, former Ce-
linaites, is visiting his parents on
a 14-day leave from the Navy.
He is stationed in Panama, and
this is the first time in three
years that he has been home, hav-
ing been in Korea before being
sent to Panama. His wife and ba-
by remained in the Canal Zone
while he came to the States to do
a few days of special training in
Norfolk. Va.
Ira Lee was the honoree in a
surprise birthday dinner at his
home west of town Sunday. His
birthday was March 27. Guests
were his daughter, Grace Lee, Dal-
las, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stiles
and daughter Charlsie, Dallas, and
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frair and two
children of Weston.
Cpl. David Rothfus, who had
been stationed at Camp Hood since
early in January, was at home with
his wife, and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. G. Rothfus, over the week-
end. He left Dallas Monday night
to go to Fort Belvoir, Va., for a
three-weeks study of soils in school
there. David entered the service in
February, 1951, and was stationed
at Fort Sill, Okla., until early in
January.

2 well-beaten eggs
V2 teaspoon salt
'/a teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon powdered
sage
1 cup cut-up chicken,
cooked or canned
X can condensed
cream of chicken
soup
! Table
espoons water
Soften bread cubes in milk and lA
cup water. Add eggs, salt, pepper,
sage and chicken and mix well.
Spread in greased, round pan about
8 in. across. Bake in moderately slow
oven (350)    35 minutes or until
brown. Meanwhile, heat soup and 2
tablesp. water until steaming hot. Cut
chicken mixture in pie-shaped wedges.
Top with sauce. Makes 4 servings.
