The Clifton High School Cubs will
meet Lorens, the McLennan county
champions of the class B foot ball
teams Thanksgiving at Lorens. They
have an extra strong club and have
lost only two games in two seasons.
Early in the season the Cubs lost to
them 24-7. The Cubs think they had
hard luck in that game and will de-
feat them on Turkey Day. This will
be a good game a^d will not be won
until the final whistle. The boys
would appreciate your going along

Thursday, Nov. 20.
W. W. Todd and C. J. Lewis who
had been down on the Rio Grande
River for the last few weeks came in
home last Friday. Mr. Lewis has de-
cided to locate down there and will
leave here Wednesday with his fami-
ly and will make his home there in the
future. Mr. Todd will also return
there this week, but his family will
remain here till after the first of the
year.
Rev. H.C. Bowman, the former pas-
tor of theMeffiodist church left last
in the Norwegian language. The af-
