One of the delightful affairs of the j
season was the chicken broil given
Thursday evening on the lawn of Mrs.
Jennie Vaughan by the Cheerful
Workers of the Methodist Church.
The chickens had been previously
broiled in an oven on the lawn. About
7:30 the young people began to gath-
er and in a few minutes about fifty
were present. After doing justice to
the wonderful supper, games weie en-
joyed until a late hour. The Chen -
ful Workers live up to their name and
all left voting this the most delight-
ful party they had ever given.—Re-
