School Census
To Be Completed
February 1
Only a few days remain for
school census enumerators to
enumerate school-age children
in the various school districts
of the county. In view of the
fact that in many instances both
parents work away from home,
it is possible that some children
have been missed. Any parent
who feels that he might have
been missed because of this fact
is asked to contact the local
school officials or the county
superintendent by February 1
Those children who will be at
least 6 years of age on or before
September 1 1958 and w ho have
not reached their 18th birthday
ion September 1. 1958> are to be
taken on the census
Also, those families who have
moved during January 1958 into
an Ellis County diMrict from
outside Ellis County should be
enumerated in this county. A
child's residence on Februarv
1st determines his legal < school)
residence.
