David Hagler Says Police
Won't Leave Him Alone
FORT WORTH. Tex (UP).—
David Fred Hagler of Fort Worth
claims he is having a hard time
holding a job because the police
won't leave him alone. Hagler
was the defendant in a fire-death
murder case involving him four
years ago.
The 40-year-old former asphalt
company executive appeared in
court in Tort Worth yesterday
to pay $400 in back child sup-
port payments. He said he had
not paid it because bounding by
the police had kept him from
holding a steady job. Hagler
said police suspect him in the
East Fort Worth State Bank rob-
bery last week. He said FBI

to the garage where he is a 50-
dollar-a-week mechanic to ques-

One Dead, Three Injured
In Collision Near Overton
OVERTON, Tex (UP).—A two-
car collision between Overton.
Texas, and Sexton City has kill-
ed one man and injured three
others. Killed in the headon col-
lision last night on State High-
way 135 was 36-year old Calvin
Henry, of Jacksonville. Those
injured were Leroy Greenwood
and Billy David Clackley of
Jacksonville and Charles Robert-
son of Gladewater. Police said
the two cars met on a curve.
Henry was riding by himself.
