Great news for Trade Days shop-
pers! The Saturday parking fee has
been discontinued through the end
of the year. As an incentive to visit
Trade Days, the parking fee has
been eliminated for the remainder
of this year, at which time the pol-
icy will be re-evaluated. The March
show, scheduled for this weekend,
will be a good opportunity to take
advantage of the free parking.
Trade Days activities
The 2006 Spring Outdoor Expo
and Sancho at Trade Days. Local
merchants will be on hand to dis-
play a variety of outdoor equipment
and products. Displays will be pro-

Easter Eggstravaganza
The seventh annual Easter Egg-
stravaganza is scheduled for Sun-
day, April 9. This year, approxi-
mately 18,000 eggs will be hid in
the Trade Days area. Last year, we
had well over 800 kids turn out to
enjoy the hunt. Candy and prizes
that are donated by businesses help
make this event a huge suc-
cess. Some of the prizes donated in
the past have included Easter bas-
kets, candy, bicycles, tricycles,
cash, sand and water toys, savings

RV Club will sponsor a commu-
nity-wide blood drive for Gulf
Coast Regional Blood Center from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the
Escapees CARE Center at 155 Care
Center Dr
Anyone wishing to donate blood
is welcome to participate.
Although there is no upper age
limit, donors must be at least 17
years of age and must weigh at
least 1 10 pounds. Prospective do-
nors should eat well before giving
blood.
The need for blood never takes a
holiday. Each blood donation can
be used to save at least three lives.
